Went into work to check the remainder of the a recent (v. expensive) delivery, and see colleagues. Ended up staying in all day, except for a long wander at lunchtime. Heavy showers in the afternoon, and I waited (a while) for one to clear, before cycling home.

In the evening, out to Avoch, and up the hill above it (in first gear... just!) to snap much the same scene as a year ago to the day – harvest etc. much further on this year. Then back home via Killen.

Olympus Trip film back from processing – lots crap! None any good. Film was ancient, and probably cheap. Bit loathe to try anything else in the camera lest it be that it's exposure meter is a bit off, rather than just the film being past it.

Footered about with this photo for ages, and couldn't get the colours the way I wanted - as in, at least something like they looked to me at the time. Someone down below had just lit the fire in their house, and there's some smoke blowing across the lower area. Methinks I won't be keeping this camera for long... even if it has vastly better results that the old Olympus!
