We Enter The Final Phase....

The inside of the house is all but finished now, all we have to do is the final touching up of all the paint work and re-hanging of the two doors in the living room and we are finished.
So we moved to the outside of the house today, Stuart, my eldest son finished putting the final components to the guttering and it was finished, we even tried a few gallon of water down it to see if it would work correctly, which it did of course, so the next on my list is to put down some slabs in front of the front window.

With 3'x2' slabs weighing around 140lbs it was no mean feat to remove them from the rear garden and bring them around to the front.
With the help of BMJnr and Stuart we laid them down completely level from right to left with a slight fall away from the house, it took about 2 hours to complete.

Next week we will get some carpets fitted and the gas fitter is coming around to complete the Landlords Gas Safety Certificate and look into the malfunction on the boiler, which has just sprung a leak for some reason.
Then it will be up to the Estate agent to find a nice tenant for us, hopefully as good as the woman in the other house.

While they are looking we will paint the render outside the hout and tidy the rear garden up as well a lay a lawn on the front, I have yet to decide what to do on the rear.

Tomorrow we take Maddi to her Daddy so he can have her for the weekend.
