Urban Decay - Grimsby Ice House

A visit to Grimsby today.  Not for the normal shopping. Getting fed up with that. We ventured into the docks area of the town today.  It was weird.  It looks like the people have just abandoned it.  Rubbish was blowing down the streets, and nature was slowly taking over some of the buildings.  It was quite eerie in places, but somehow quite beautiful.  The whole area is surrounded by a seven foot fence, so i guess they don't really want casual visitors like me looking around

The building in the photograph is Grimsby Ice House a disused building in the docks area.  This building features on the film 2007 film Atonement as a light industry site in Dunkirk. 

Got a couple of shots of the dock tower, but not really close enough to not have other buildings etc in the foreground.  A nice shot of Victoria Mills and Corporation Bridge were nearly my blip, but I loved the desolation and decay of this shot.
