Mindless Gift

I almost didn't the chance to take a photograph today. I spent most of the day cleaning the apartment in preparation for S's return from rehab after three months. I had taken a provisional blip in the car on my way to pick up S, but I planned to not use it unless I was unable to shoot something more worthy. I dropped S off at a meeting, got something to eat, and then headed out again to pick her up. Fortunately, there usually are plenty of interesting things in the Castro to photograph, night or day.
