The last hurrah

Today marks the end of the holiday weeks off work and as part of this we had a wee last hurrah in to the city for a walk and some food. The initial plan after researching yesterday was to hit MILK on Morrison Street, but what I didn't know at the time is that they only have 4 tables - all full when we were there. Rather than stand in their waiting for a free table we headed a bit further up the road to Burger on Shandwick Place. This is a new addition to the other branch up on Fountainbridge. Bizarrely quiet for Sunday. In fact the whole west end was quiet - we even got parked without a faff! 
Despite it being rather parky outside we did take a walk onto Princes Street, but only made it as far as Castle Street before heading back to the car and homeward bound.
