Cruising on Loch Katrine

Bob Wang, our Christmas Chinese student guest, was back today with his mother, Annabel so we took them for a winter cruise aboard The Lady of the Lake on Loch Katrine.
 
 
( Yes he did manage to meet her on time when she flew in from China last Sunday.)
 
Annabel is very much part of New China and Bob is their only son. She is an assistant manager of Phoenix, a car parts firm of nearly 1000 employees, of which her husband is manager. They live in Bengbu city and they have second home in Yellow Mountains.
 
Within minutes of arriving we were showered with gifts including a real pearl necklace.
 
We were delighted to offer them hospitality and to catch a glimpse into the new world of China, so very different to the one we visited over twenty years ago.
