CLEMATIS

Two Clematis growing through the heathers. On the left, C. Arabella, raised by Barry Fretwell, U. K. In 1990. I love this little one. Although its a non-clinging one, it is very free flowering .......grows up & then flops over. Could easily be called C. Miss Floppy ! The purple is C. Viticella Blue Belle, which is very good for Summer colour. The flowers aren't nearly so prolific, but it fills a gap. Grey, overcaste day, with our usual wind.
