River Camping

Camping on the Murray River in Cobram, Been coming here for a few years now and it is always so relaxing. There were 7 families this time all looking out for each others children, sharing food and drinks and just generally having a great time.
Bit of a scare today though the SES came round warning us of fire danger as they do every year, basically you need to use your common sense and follow the rules. What I did not expect was word to say my house was in danger of going up in flames, Crib Point was on fire alert and the house had to be evacuated, was on pins until I had word from Jodi to say they were safe. Still had the worry that Steven was actually part of the fire crew fighting the blaze. All good after a good few hours they got rain and helped to put the fire out. So proud of the kids the way they reacted.
