Damp wall

Getting used to the damp environment as part of my adjustment to this my first Maltese winter.  There's damp on the living room wall, perhaps caused by some structural problem, and a large patch floor to ceiling in the hallway.  Our bedroom smells musty, and you can see discolouration on the external wall.

There is much to learn about caring for the home - different to the UK!!
