Sorry to those who'd commented on my previous blip, it was just too awful and had to go, although that doesn't alter the fact that this site does need mending. 

I could (very painstakingly) upload each photo and copy and paste all the text to somewhere else, for example Wordpress, where I would have full (?) ownership and control over everything... but how long would that take, so I suppose I'll hang about and wait and see what happens instead.

I will get used to the new but not much improved Blip in time, but at the moment it's a bit like someone's messed about with my diary.  In the meantime I've deleted my pre-blip photos, removed my email address from my profile and added a link to my first blip.
