when you go away, you should probably remind the neighbour he is watering the plants....in hindsight he knew he was meant to, but did actually forget.

the maple has been a nemesis many times over - & the challenge continues.  Whilst it isn't quite snap dead, there is a little bendy in the branches  (thanks to a few small rainfalls) - maybe, just maybe it will pull through. The other plant is a little more hardy & already turning a little greener on some branches.
