Further Progress

Today there has not been any rain or frost, however, the temperature has never risen above 10 degrees and the air and everything around us is rather damp, not ideal for building work, but good enough to permit it.

The other end of the house was recently pictured showing the progress that had been made there and has now progressed a little more.  However, the kitchen end of the house has progressed very rapidly, nearly all of the blocks in this picture have been laid today.  The standard of work is also very good; rather different to our experience with a previous builder.  At the current rate of progress, the rear wall should be finished by the end of this week, although there will still be internal work to do before the doors and windows are fitted, but this picture shows how things are progressing.
