A day out.

Today we visited Barnstaple, where we had a couple of things to do and had lunch at The Bank. We always wander through the Pannier Market in Butches Row but today there was nothing going on. I love the structure of this building and can always remember it so well as a child. It is just the same some 53 years later, and even the Market Cafe is still there. I remember having lunch, well a bowl of soup, with my father all those years ago. Happy memories.

We are still enjoying the hospitality of the W's. The aromas in the kitchen are Devine and Mrs W is busy cooking us 'Pheasant Sausages' for supper. They are in fact pheasant breasts stuffed then tightly rolled and lightly poached! Needless to say I am looking forward to this!
