Mackerel

What bliss! First day back at work and I didn't have to get up until 8am and I was home by 6pm and that was with a visit to the supermarket on the way. Admittedly, the 8am start was a one-off today as it was my first day, but 6am starts are a thing of the past now. 

To be honest, it was a little odd going back - I felt as though I'd just had a long holiday rather than I'd been away for the last 6 months at a different job. But all in all, it's a relief to be rescued from the commute. And I [pretty much] promise never to mention said commute again!
