Winter sun

Day trip to Brighton to see various friends and the most gorgeous winter weather on the seafront. Baltic and bone-chilling in the backstreets but strong sun next to the beach that made us want to reach for an ice cream. Which we did greedily.

It's been so fantastic to catch up with so many old friends on this trip. The itinerary has been full and I leave soon as tired as when I arrived, but I don't really care.
