Liquid amber in all its glory

A beautiful liquid amber tree at the local golf club. It's so hard to find trees given their full glory with space around them, and in fact I've never really found a special one - the quest goes on.

This one is pretty good, although there are a lot of other trees nearby. The colour is amazing, no image really does it justice.

Thanks to crickster looked up liquid amber and found out it's actually called liquidambar - and that's the Latin name - I'd always thought it was called amber because the leaves go all the shades of amber, and maybe that's still true!
