Bowls in waiting

9 for lunch today and mammoth size saucepan of leek and potato soup soon filled these bowls.
Wine was consumed, tea drunk and citrus tart demolished, and we still had time to discuss. TV programmes, films and update everyone on family gatherings over the festive period. We are now all thankful to be back in our routines - is that a sign of getting old!
