NELLIE'S GARDEN

It's not her name but I call her Nellie because, although she's slim & very good looking, she's utterly unable to walk quietly. She lives in the flat above - her partner who's a big chap moves silently.

Nellie works as a landscape gardener. Between you & me she's perfectly clueless gardening-wise. Last year she tried to grow pumpkins in pots! They did manage to produce a couple of desperate flowers before they starved to death. :o(

This year I intend to impose myself a bit more forcefully - starting next weekend by bagging up & disposing of the pile of dead leaves she left at the top of my steps!
