Tranquil Spot

Time was when our timber gazebo provided a tranquil spot in the garden, and I guess could well provide a place for us to relax come spring and summer.
But sadly, the timbers are now sadly showing their age and the entire framework has developed a pronounced list to one side.
We cannot really complain because we've lived here 27 years and the gazebo has survived nearly all of that time.
On a summer evening it became a regular haven for us more often than not with a glass of gin and tonic. We rarely touch spirits these days so it more likely would be a chilled wine this year.
However, the timbers are beyond TLC and we need to dismantle the entire thing. Weather, rain and wind has left its mark, and we will need either to rebuild, or buy a complete new gazebo.
Somehow, I think we will be out in the garden and enjoying our little spot come summer  evenings. Just a DIY project in between now and then!
