Planetary divide

Boys are from Mars, girls are from Venus.

On the left, from an almost-six-year-old, we have an Eagle Destroyer, capable of inflicting unimaginable carnage, even to giant crab-spiders (my hands) Its fearless pilot has numerous lethal weapons at his disposal; a rotating canon, a retractable arm and a high powered laser  gun. Should that not be enough, the circular hose next to him is connected to a source of magic power and can transfer the power directly to his brain if he connects the hose to the top of his head.

On the right, from an almost-three-year-old we have a happy family (Wonder Woman retired and married some normal guy) They've been busy, because the two cylindrical objects on the left are baby bottles. Their abode is somewhat cramped what with a Christmas tree, eat-in-kitchen and bed all in one space. It isn't clear what the object on the right represents but the furniture was moved around quite a lot before the final arrangement.

Many area schools were closed because of the brutal cold so I had a rare visit with this brother and sister duo, together with their grandma. They were under instruction to build something and with no input, this was the result. If you can guess who's is who's, I will be impressed. I think it's obvious who's is who's.

And while we play, Paris mourns. The whole world mourns. Something has got to give.
