High on Life

After a wonderfully relaxing sleep First Class (see yesterday's blip for more details), my plane landed in Munich and I spent the layover catching up on work emails. That in turn gave me ample time to look out the window on the short hop to Genoa, during which we flew over a breathtaking view of the Alps. I couldn't help but snap a few photos of the gorgeous sunlight and shadow on the mountains bringing the peaks into stark relief.

The afternoon was spent fighting jetlag and waking around Garibaldi Street and its nearby alleyways and side passages. I took some neat photos, ate some delicious pizza, and now I'm off to get in my daily mile before hitting the sack and letting my body catch up on rest.
