Back on the mainland

We packed up our things and left Lopud in glorious sunshine this afternoon. Even managed to spend most of the morning on the beach again. The second half of our holiday was spent in an apartment in Dubrovnik. We were collected by Milan, who we were renting the apartment from, a wise move considering we discovered the walk to everywhere outside the city walls is basically up a steep slope! Our apartment was up more than 180 steps!
The apartment was lovely and we quickly snapped the view across to the old city and the island of Lokrum.

After unpacking we went for an explore around the city and had a nice Italian meal in one of the maze of backstreets.
