Palmetto tree

The palmetto trees at the entrance to where I live are lit at night from underneath. I have looked at them before when returning home, but tonight I really looked at them as I drove past. The way the light cast shadows up the trunk of the tree struck me as interesting so I decided to make a picture. When I got closer I noticed for the first time all of the different textures I had never seen before. Thought it looked pretty nifty.
