Derelict Thursday..........

This house was built for my Great Grandparents, Thomas & Clara in 1883
 
On September 24th 1883 building of the house commenced
November 13th 1883 the house was completed
One day later, on November 14th 1883, Thomas & Clara married.
 
My Grandfather was the youngest and only son of four children born to Thomas & Clara.
He later farmed this land, as did his youngest son.


UPDATE
The first European settlers arrived in Nelson, New Zealand, November 1841.
 I am descended from several families who made the long voyage from England to this new and unknown land.
