Katiki Beach

This photo gives the false impression that it was a nice day.

It started out pretty well but was over by about 8 a.m.  Since then it has been grey skies and off and on drizzle.  Not that I mind particularly.  The reprieve from the heat has been great.

The tiny white dot on the top of the second hill from the left is Moeraki lighthouse.  The other side of that next dip is the bay where there be yellow eyed penguins.

I travelled as far as Christchurch today.  I've had dinner with Sebastian and am staying the night with him then taking him home to Murchison with me tomorrow.  I'm a very fortunate Gran.
