Singing Thrush

Today air was full of singing. Morning was cloudy but we got soft rain only by the afternoon.

On my morning walk I first stopped to listen to two Nightingales having a competition and managed to see the other one.

Just after that I heard the first Cuckoo of the year.

And the most interesting was Wryneck (käenpiika). I went to Halosenniemi to see how the garden was and heard a sound not familiar to me. I managed to see to back of that bird and took some not so good pictures on it. Pied Flycatchers nearby were very nervous.

Then driving back to home and listening to radio. And thanks to Finnish broadcast company Yle to voice of the week was Wryneck.
