Growing old disgracefully

By GOD

EXOTICA

We've been experiencing a little cabin fever these last two days, so encouraged by the occasional burst of sunshine we ventured out today for a trip to Loch Lomond. The images across the Loch were special as the sun, wind and rain came and went.  One moment the snow covered Ben was entirely clear - a short while later the sunlit islands in the foreground appeared to march towards us as the background filled with dark blue cloud.  We strolled around the walled garden and sheltered for a while among the exotica in the hot house. Tradescantia, I think, or spider plant to you. I had one once, but it was never as marvellously magenta.

Feeling sad and a bit helpless in the face of some news we have had today.
