Hornsey Town Hall

My trip to North London continued with an afternoon in Crouch End where Hornsey Town Hall (gates shown in my blip) is undergoing a major development into a major cultural centre.

It was opened in 1935 and has many Art Deco elements. And to add a family element my sister met her husband Gerry there when the both worked there in the late 1960s.

My chum, Anne and I hopped on and off buses all day, had a long Italian lunch and a delicious cake tea!!!! Then I made my way home to Cambridgeshire, tired but very happy!
