Bear Fest

We love teddy bears. Of all shapes and sizes, we've got them.
It all stems from a time when my wife Jill and her near neighbour Carla were into making them. Not for commercial gain, but for the sheer joy and craftsmanship which went into them.
I recall that we travelled all over the country to bear festivals and exhibitions to catch up on new ideas and thoughts, talk to other bear enthusiasts and inevitably purchase supplies.
It's been some while since they actually made one of these endearing little creatures, but we still have them all over the house.
Though some have been given away as gifts, and a few sold, we really cannot countenance the thought of passimg them on.
And then family visitors often take delight in re-arranging them into compromising positions, but at the end of the day they are restored to their rightful positions.
But you won"t get into bed without moving another part of the collection. How many? Now, that would be telling and I haven't counted them recently. But I don't think there is a room in the house which is teddy bear free.
