Weather damage

Well, that was nowhere near as bad as we might have expected. We just need to brace ourselves  now for the following storm.

Mr L has few interests in his life but one major one is his weather station and the software that he develops for displaying the station's data. Imagine his feelings when he looked out of the bedroom window this morning and saw what had happened to his Stevenson Screen.

That's his precious (and expensive!) weather station, lying on the ground in front of the Stevenson Screen... to which it was formerly attached. The whole was previously on the metal frame.

Picture less than brilliant due to my being stood out in a F8 gale to take it. Fully auto settings chosen and I stopped out for a short a period as possible. This was a one-take day.
