Ceremony

Today was the 'Official' opening of our wonderful stand alone birth unit.
We have actually been open since 26th July 2010 but have never had the official opening until today.
Since 2010 we have had 629 births, 333 of which have been waterbirths.
During the ceremony our 630th baby was birthed.

Irene Chamberlain, the Mayor of Solihull unveiled our plaque and myself and another midwife-Julie had the privilege of cutting the ribbon.
It's official, we are now called-Netherbrook Birth Unit.
