Boys....

at work. One of Benjamins friends had bought a cheap moped. Cheap in this case meant that there were some things not working as they should. They spend the whole afternoon tinkering (not sure about the translation) and at the end of the day, the thing actually worked! I tried out (for the first time in 30 years), driving up and down the street where we live :-) The boy wearing the grey shirt is my youngest son Benjamin. The photograph was not sharp, so I Ortonished a little to mask imperfection....

This morning my dear friend Louise was cremated. Benjamin accompanied me. He has spend lots of weekends at louises place in the past, playing with her son Rodney. When he was véry little he had difficulties pronouncing the letter R and he called Louise 'Hotties mama'. Many years later we could stil laugh about that. Anyway, the ceremonie was heartwarming. So many people had come to remember, say goodbye and share memories of Louise. It was good.......
