Looking out from the garrison

Garrison point on the isle if Sheppey has had fortifications to guard against entrance to the River Medway for hundreds of years.

Today it houses Peel Ports VTS and looks after all the river traffic, including our gas ships. There for a meeting today and the views were great - a really low tide, so you could see loads of the masts of the wreck if the Richard Montgomery, just a few hundred yards away.
