One good thing about Fridays: the trains are quieter (hangovers from Thursday night drinks? Working from home?). And it's nearly the weekend, obviously. Okay, two good things about Fridays. 

Third session at the gym this week culminating in a 5km run and 2km row. The Christmas cake is slowly leaving the system. Speaking of which: the Christmas cake is nearly finished already!

Music for today: The Silver Seas, Withered Hand, Ryan Adams and Dusty Trails. 

It's the first time I've listened to Dusty Trails and I rather like it. Found by going from Pixies > The Breeders > Kostars > Dusty Trails. A six-degrees moment: Viv Trimble's family were our next-door neighbours in France (hi Jonathan!).

After work a quick wander around the centre of London with Bo. The theme (such as there was) was 55mm, f1.8. I'd broken the rules by this point and swapped to the 18-135mm. Shocking. More here.
