Sand blasted

After a very stormy night, we ventured out for a VERY brief walk on Cheswick beach this morning. Marram grass swaying violently, white horses and a sandstorm whipping across the beach.  The wind blew us through the dunes and down to the sea - during a very short period of blue sky - and we battled our way back against a fierce wind and horizontal sleet.

Then off to the supermarket, and home for some serious house cleaning.
