Crayke Barn

There has been a photographic exhibition by two North Yorkshire photographers on my to do list since before Christmas. So we decided that if we were going to view it then today was the day as the closing date was tomorrow. When we got there we found that it has been extended for a few weeks. There were only 20 prints in the exhibition so we might have felt short changed but it was held in a rather nice art and craft centre in Crayke and there were other paintings, pottery and jewellery to admire and buy. The prices meant that I wasn't tempted. Added to that there is a very nice cafe for us to have lunch.

Just before lunch we had a look round the small garden which was looking rather sad but just through the gate into the field I spotted this wooden barn with corrugated roof which looked great against the blue sky.  We left Crayke in sunshine and when we arrived home an hour or so later the sky was menacing, the temperature dropped by 3 degrees and it started to snow! The snow didn't last more than a few minutes.
