Bridge 70

This is the last bridge on the Kings Norton to Stratford on Avon canal. Situated at the junction of the canal with the River Avon, opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, This marks the end of the twenty five and a half miles long waterway.

This is a purely pedestrian bridge and was completed in the last few years the work being part of the redevelopment of the Bancroft Basin, which was in the nineteenth century a warehouse and manufacturing area and now is a narrow boat mooring mecca ideally situated for a visit to this historic town.
