Yes They Are Big Trees Daddy

The wife and daughter were visiting friends in Hereford today so I dropped them off and headed to Queenswood Country Park and Arborteum on the recommendation of their host. It's about 6 miles north of the city on the A49 towards Leominster and very easy to find. It's also free to enter though the shop and facilities are closed at this time of year.

Away from the children's play area it's a real haven. Many varieties of trees, as you'd expect, some spectacular views from it's high vantage points and lots of interesting trails to explore.

I was taken with these tall, slender trees and, conveniently, a young family loitered to provide some scale. Could've blipped another dozen images. Very enjoyable.
