Between the showers

A day of sunshine and driving snow---even in Portobello (by the sea) whre I took Miss L and Miss K to music lessons this morning. After lunch I went for advice on getting a wood-burning stove from a shop in West Linton, giving me a different starting point for a run. This is Mendick Hill from across West Linton golf course. Thankfully the bad weather was on the downwind leg, but this meant that I didn't get the break in the cloud to make the climb of Mendick Hill more than exercise.
