If we did not have a dog

We would not have gone out for a walk today. When it wasn't almost raining, it was sleeting. Yuk. The only other people in the park were other dog walkers; dogs make you hardy.

After the storms I was expecting to see quite a few blown down trees, but most of them had survived.

This is a casualty of a much earlier storm, quietly rotting away. I love its sculptural quality but I had a great deal of difficulty with the photo. This will do for today. I'll try to do better another time.
