Rat-snap

I have always loved the book The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. Here is my blip entry from July 2011

Over the years there have been many attempts to dramatise this story. Most recently, the poet Andrew Motion was commissioned by the Royal Opera House to write a narration, to be delivered alongside dance and puppetry, to convey the spirit of the book.

My wonderful friend ValleyAllBlack was kind enough to suggest we went to this season's production at The Vaudeville Theatre in London. Even better, he bought me a ticket as a Christmas present :-)

So off we went to the big smoke today and it was worth the effort. Alan Titchmarsh did a fantastic job as the narrator/Kenneth Grahame and the performance was positively magical in places.

The programme's back cover encouraged everyone to take a Rat-snap so here is mine!
