Tarawera Times (my mentor) and husband Ian generously invited a group of us around to the beautiful Humphries Bay on Lake Tarawera in the late afternoon sun today, on their double-hulled boat, Wakarua. The water was as emerald as ever and such great place for the keen players to jump off the deck,motor casing or roof as nerve allowed. A super  end to the day with time for catching up with the bay families and chat to Anja who is a voracious reader and so looking forward to studying the Russian Revolution this year. Between a couple of sessions of diving off the boat she was absorbed in a biography of Ptolemy II's daughter Cleopatra.A lovely end to a beautiful day.
