In The Dark and Cold

We lost our power to our townhome at three pm today. No light, no heat, no t.v, no computer, just a portable radio telling us that with wind chills it was going down to -24c tonight! We put on a number of candles and found the flash lights and put on extra sweaters. I went out and got some soup and chili and coffee from Tim Horton's which helped keep as warm. Was a cold night but the power finally came back on at one thirty Sun morning. Not a good night's sleep as our neighbors came home at four a.m. and continued doing their laundry! At least we will have a hot breakfast Sunday morning!
