To me

Just after 8:30am and there's gifts in the kitchen.

Mrs theWeir has been exceptionally generous this year with some great gifts.

The day was wiled away nicely with family and friends. Breakfast and presents after Mrs theWeir came home from nightshift. Then packed her off to get some sleep.

Then some time with the bairns before we went to see my Mum and Dad, some more awesome gifts and toasties for lunch (followed by birthday pudding).

Home to a wakened Mrs theWeir and a jaunt to bike shops in the snow (wee took the Mini as it's always fun to drive in the white stuff).

Returned home with new mudguards (birthday cash purchase) and a new bike (previously ordered via cycle to work.

A nice meal at home, a visit with neighbours to toast the day and home for a wee bit more pudding and plenty hot water (for medicinal purposes).
