Dusk at the canal

I took Vinnie to the other side of Reading this afternoon. Although on some maps this stretch of water is shown as the River Kennet, it's a continuation of the Kennet & Avon Canal (which it links to the Thames) and I've always thought of it as "the canal". 

I took a few shots from a footbridge, looking back towards the sun setting over the town centre, and I liked this one best because of the fortunately-placed gull in the sky and ducks on the water.
