Looking for nests

We're on the second sweep of the island at the moment, recording wandering albatross nests that have had eggs laid since last we checked and recording all the birds present. All the adults that have bred here before should be ringed, allowing us to identify each individual. All 1,500+. This was an intensely windy day with bright sun but forebodiung clouds. Cold on the hands while taking notes and windy enough to knock you about in the gusts, especially when carrying a dozen wooden marker stakes.
