Forest of Dean

Up early (for a Sunday) and off to the Forrest of Dean cycle centre with Phil and his brand new Canyon.

Weather was kind so Phil's bike didn't quite get as muddy as he would have liked.

Uplifts were booked so we took full advantage, still not sure how many runs we did but had to be about 12.

Does riding in the UK get any better than today?

The slab drop off on the final run just topped it off, never thought even that morning I wouldn ever do that step off. The bike just soaks it up, if only my GoPros battery hadn't run out just before...

Home to a lovely tea, my gorgeous girls and a game of trivial pursuit to wind down...
