Caught Alana teaching Louis some piano for the first time. Its Alana's instrument of choice now after a dabble with clarinet, drums and guitar. She is often found playing and singing to herself (or to L). Got her an electric piano for Christmas to replace her keyboard. This one has weighted keys and feels much closer to a real piano.

Louis has just started drums at school. Its only today I've managed to get the electronic drum kit working again so for a few weeks he's been hitting pads at home that all sound the same (except for the foot pedal, which up until today made no sound at all for him.... maybe a little click).

Had dinner at Birchwood Farm. L had to ask how the veggie burger was cooked and he couldn't guarantee it wasn't fried with the other things so I ended up with the cheese and potato pie as usual.

At bedtime I started Harry Potter, Chamber of Secrets with Louis. Left it where Dobby was about to make an appearance!
