This Time Last Year

Shane and I were in The Boiler Room Queenstown into the wee small hours of Hogmanay, it was a similar situation this year too. Except there was a bit of role reversal, he arrived sober to find me drunk this time. Not only that, we both had our respective partners with us, Claire and Nomi. Both of whom had been leading me astray earlier in the evening. Home time was relatively early for me, all ready for the big night ahead at work.
