At last...

Wifi at home was poor due to a poor signal of the provider's modem/router. They offered me to pay for an extra router and suggested a brand and type. That was a failure; it refused to connect, whatever I tried; I could not even access the settings.. So I returned it and ordered another one. Different brand too. And it worked from scratch!
